The full-length trailer of The Little Mermaid dropped during the Oscars 2023 broadcast. It gave us our closest look at the beloved animated film’s live-action version. Starring Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hauer-King and others, the film is directed by Rob Marshall.

The trailer had Halle Bailey’s Ariel take viewers to her part of the world and it is filled with visually stunning underwater shots. We also get a glimpse of Melissa McCarthy’s accurate Ursula and Javier Bardem as a surprisingly armoured King Triton.
