For the promotion of her films, Yami Gautam has visited Kolkata on multiple occasions. For the cheerful actress, filming the new movie “Lost” in the City of Joy during the pandemic two years ago was like coming home. She spent nearly 50 days in Kolkata for the filming of Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s Lost, and she was full of wonderful memories. Lost tells the tale of a young crime reporter named Vidhi Sahani (Yami Gautam), who is married to Jeet (Neil Bhoopalam) but lives with her nanu (Pankaj Kapur). The story is set in Kolkata and is based on actual events. Ishaan Bharti (Tushar Pandey), a young theatre activist, went missing unexpectedly, prompting her to look into the matter.
