Actor Saif Ali Khan has revealed that he was scammed in a property deal in Mumbai. He also added that almost 70 percent of what he’d earned till that time was lost. The actor made these revelations in a chat with Rani Mukerji on YRF’s YouTube video. “I’ve been scammed myself, actually. It was all to do with property in Mumbai. So I bought something and they said ‘You will have it in three years’. And I gave them lots of my money, about 70% of what I had earned till that time for this lovely big thing,” Saif told Rani when she asked him if he had ever been scammed.

“I still haven’t got it. I’m gonna get it I hope very soon but now that pandemic,” he added. Saif also clarified that it wasn’t related to the house he was staying in but an office space.

Earlier this year, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan shifted to a new place ahead of their son, Jehangir’s birth. Their previous Fortune Heights apartment has been rented out. The Fortune Heights apartment comprises a 1500 sq foot area with two parking spaces. According to media reports, the rent for the apartment is Rs 3.5 lakh for the first year and will be increased to Rs 3.67 lakh and Rs 3.87 lakh in the next two years.
