When all seems dull, art is what everyone turns to. A boring day in, the fifteen minutes lunch break, free weekends, holidays… name it and we’ve found a way to bank on online content to put a smile on our face, get us emotional and even turn on the thrill sometimes. Binging isn’t a thing any more, it’s a way of life for us and a big contributor to our streaming habits comes from Prime Video. With it’s diverse range of films and shows, Prime Video is a mini-world we carry around with us.

As the festive season comes along with some long breaks and days off work, we’re looking at a lot of free time to catch up on what’s new on the web. But Prime Video is here to tell you to hit the pause button this Diwali and spend your time with your loved ones instead, following all necessary health and safety protocols. Getting on board for this campaign, Prime Video has two of the most celebrated characters, Kaleen Bhaiyya from Mirzapur and Siddhi from Four More Shots Please! talk about the importance of switching off the binging and enjoying the company of your family and friends.

Pankaj Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiyya features in one of the films and has this to say to his fans, “I am grateful to my fans who have showered me with so much love over the past few years. I am truly humbled by all the adoration I have received from them. However, this Diwali, I want to tell my fans that Kaleen Bhaiyya would love for them to spend time with their families. Diwali gives us the opportunity to connect with our loved ones and the time spent with them adds to the joy of the festival. Kaleen Bhaiyya and the many characters that you love, will be there on Prime Video tomorrow and every other day, but Diwali should be all about family and friends.”

Maanvi Gagroo aka Siddhi too spoke of the importance of friendship, “I have always believed in the power of friendship and feel that festivals come alive when we spend them with our friends, and of course, family. I was ecstatic to feature in the campaign because it delivers a poignant message. Over the last two years, all of us have realized the value of family and friends even more. And this festive season should give us an opportunity to thank them for being there for us – while being responsible and safe. As for your on-screen friends from Prime Video, we will, always be there for you!”

So here’s to a streaming service sharing the right message this Diwali. Pause and instead create new memories with your loved ones!
