FIR registered against Payal Rohatgi for objectionable words on Mahatma Gandhi

Payal Rohatgi is in hot water again. A case has been registered against her in Pune. According to media reports, Payal had posted a video on social media which contained defamatory content against the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

ANI reports that a case has been filed against Payal Rohatgi for using objectionable words against Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi in a video which she posted on social media. “A case has been registered against actress Payal Rohatgi (in file pic) in Pune for allegedly using objectionable words against Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi & Rajiv Gandhi in a video shared on social media, under sections 153 (a), 500, 505(2) and 34 of IPC,” ANI reported.





The FIR has allegedly been registered by Pune District Congress general secretary Sangeeta Tiwari.
